I’m finishing up our school supply shopping today.  This year is the first time we have to buy supplies for THREE kids (about 65 different items!).  I really love the smell of the sharpened pencils, the smooth pink erasers – it all takes me back to being a kid and the feeling of a fresh start.

My favorite elementary school teacher was Ms. Boe – I had her for 1st and 2nd grade and she was wonderful:)  I still remember studying her hair, make-up and clothing, and thinking she was the most beautiful girl ever.  Every once in a while, I get a whiff of her perfume and suddenly it’s 1989 and I’m 7 years old again.  Don’t you love when that happens?
