Listening: Wild Belle

Yesterday, Chicago-based band Wild Belle released their new album Isles, and I’m already smitten with it.  I’ve listened to it 4 times through, and can see that it will be a Spring/Summer favorite for me this year.

The band is a brother and sister duo – Elliot and Natalie Bergman.  Elliot plays several different instruments (including the sax, how cool is that?) and Natalie sings, plays some keys and tambourine.  I just really love the chill vibe of this album and I can’t help but shake my shoulders to their songs every time.
