I was reading about Elsie’s summertime goals this morning, and it inspired me to jot down a few of my own. I love lists because it is a visual reminder of what you want to accomplish, and more importantly, what you have already accomplished.
1. Give my bedroom a complete make-over. This is a HUGE project, but something that I really really want to accomplish by the end of the summer. It includes, priming, painting, new bedding, new vintage pieces, and a new headboard. Like I said, HUGE.
2. Learn to prepare healthy foods in a way that I actually will enjoy eating them (and not dread eating them).
3. Buy a new bra – a really nice one. I’m ashamed to saw that it’s been almost 2 years since I have bought a new bra. And on top of that, I don’t like spending tons of money on them, so I usually buy the cheaper ones- why do I do this? I mean, I wear them everyday…
4. Have several photo shoots with my kids. I always have a ton of great ideas for photos of my kids, but rarely take the time to see them realized. My kids are pretty cute, so why not show that off more often? :)
Do you have any summertime goals?

I agree with you on the bras. I has not one but TWO different bras bust a wire last week. As much as I hate shopping for them, it must be done!

I love lists too. So here are some of mine:
Make and sell some of my diaper cakes also make 2 for my daughters’ friends’ babies.
Make homemade paper. I’ve been saying this for 6 years. I adore anything paper.
Do some scrapbooking.
Take more pics of my grandaughter and all the family.
Write some letters to a few people who love snail mail.
Declutter clothes. If I get rid of one for each piece I keep I can cut the amount in half.
Declutter some books. Do you need a book? Ask me I might have it and I will give it to you. :) I have away about 10 of them on freecycle and I ended up with 10 more. This not progress. haha
Write on my blog. Not just read others.
Swim in my small but wonderfully wet pool and enjoy the birds, the sky and the blueberries growing next to it.
Plant more flowers.
Buy something from the MayDae site. :)
Read lots.
Start the babystepping from couch potato to runner.
Savour the presence of God and all the joyous gifts he has given me.
That seems like a good start. Thanks for inspiring us.

I have done one thing on my list. I bought the adorable little ship bookends! I love, love, love them. The color goes with a painting my daughter made and they make me smile. And I got them so quickly. That was nice since they were bought with birthday money and I have no patience when waiting for gifts. hehe….everyone should order something from your shop and see how fast they can get it in their little hot hands. :)
