I kinda like books.

I know I have talked about my lack of enthusiasm for electronic reading devices in the past, but here we are again.  I heard the other day that one of the things children born in 2011 most likely won’t know about includes books, magazines and newspapers.  Sad day – just saying.  Let’s get away from the depressing part though…I’ve been thinking lately that I won’t be getting rid of any of my books for a long time.  Not that I would have to begin with, but now I really won’t be.  Instead, I am choosing to find creative ways to display books – and I have found a few fantastic ones:

    Oh my! I absolutely LOVE all of those too. Maybe I should buy a house just to do all of that stuff in different rooms and have nothing but books, books, books!!!

    Pretty cool, but as a librarian, I’m like, “Aaaaagh! How are you supposed to find anything?!” There are books, however, that are only valuable as decoration. Reader’s Digest, for example. Stuff that otherwise you would just throw away. ;)

    I think they are all wonderful. The picture frame one is terrific! I love my books, but am buying a Kindle. With age comes eyesight problems. Having a Kindle will let me read at night when I can’t enjoy a real book! (and let me take books when I travel without using precious luggage space)

    I have fallen in love. Books are so beautiful and I adore all of these different ways of displaying them! I especially like the picture frame one :)
