Back in February, I found this AMAZING dress while thrifting. Black, lace overlay, and satin details on the front. My favorite part is the fit – they sure did understand how to make dresses in the 60s!
I knew as soon as I bought it that I wanted to save it for my trip to Paris. I chose to wear it on the day that we visited the Louvre – it was magical!
Best $12 I’ve ever spent. I want to keep it forever:)

Black, lace overlay? It sure looks like a beautful, beautful blue to me! I’d love to wear it too! ;) I agree the 60’s knew how to make a dress.

It is a keeper, babe! I have that old sewing book from those olden days, that, as a kid, I’d pore over for hours and all the dresses were amazing fabrics and darts going every which way, but women got that amazing fit for the body. What cool photos to have of yhour life. How many people get to model in Paris. Just like the Audrey Hepburn movie…which one was it?…..
