The Joy Formidable

The past several weeks I’ve been listening to The Joy Formidable.  They are a 3-piece band originally out of north Wales.  Ritzy (the lead singer and guitarist) and Rhydian (the bass player) were childhood friends and  have been making music together from a young age.  The pair are even in a romantic relationship, which means that I officially need to rename two of my kids to Ritzy and Rhydian because c’mon how cute do those names sound together?

Their music is straight up guitar and drums-driven rock which happens to be my very favorite kind of music.  Turn the volume way up and enjoy the pulsing energy.
