If I were a man…

Inspired by Stephanie May’s post last week on men’s fashion, which has been sorely lacking on our blog – I thought I would share my current favorite men’s looks as well.  It may seem like I’m jumping the gun a little with showing a Fall 2011 collection…but it’s still insanely cold here in Colorado, and the thought of looking at Spring collections makes me shiver.  So without further ado, feast your eyes on the genius of Junya Watanabe:

Don’t they look so dapper?!  While the hem line might seem a bit odd to most and I can just hear the comments now…”Waitin’ for a flood?” or “Did you grow overnight?” – I think it’s fantastic and completely fits with the rest of the look.  Watanabe’s collection uses so many interesting textiles and patterns, but it’s completely cohesive and wonderful.  I can say honestly – if I were a man, I would totally dress like this.
