Not the pasta, although it’s also delicious

To all the men in my life, please listen very carefully to what I’m about to tell you.  It is of the utmost importance that you don a bowtie at some point in your life.  Preferably now…if even just once.

There is just something about them – I can’t resist a man in a bowtie.  It shows that you aren’t just putting on a tie because you were told to and because it’s the “appropriate” way to dress up.  There is more thought behind it, more kick-back to older times and it is lovely.  Now don’t get me wrong, the just rolled out of bed with your hair all disheveled and not enough time to tie anything around your neck look has it’s place too – and some of you pull that off quite well.  I’m just saying, whether it be a good ol’ boy or a young, trendy sort wearing a bowtie – my heart is filled with such affection when I see it.

We’ve mentioned Something’s Hiding In Here on our blog before – and if you haven’t fallen head over heels for Shauna & Stephen yet…I hope today is that day when the magic happens for you.  They are fantastically brilliant and creative and oh-so-sweet.  Plus, they started a company called Forage where they make and sell the most incredible bowties.  Major ♥.

I was this close to purchasing one of these yesterday for my wedding, which is non-exisistent at this point – but my future husband will be wearing a bowtie, I do know that much.  Hopefully he will be someone who loves them as much as I do and I won’t have to force him:)

So men(if there are any men who read our blog…ha!), what are your thoughts on the bowtie?  Yay or nay?  And if nay, let’s go to coffee and I’ll explain to you why they’re so important and necessary.

Happy weekend loves!
