Collection inspiration: Angel toppers

Growing up, we always had a cute Christmas tree in each bedroom. I always loved that tradition, and I loved that each tree could be customized to each of us. One of the things that I always wanted on the tree was a pretty angel. I am thinking that I need to start a vintage tree angel collection! Stormie has a really pretty one, and I just got one this week for $.75. I love each of these from Etsy:

Do you want to help us settle an argument? Stormie Dae bought these brown tassel shoes:

We listed both of these at the same time in our shop, and we have a little friendly bet going – which one of these pairs of shoes will sell first? I think that the yellow heels will, and Stormie thinks that the brown flats will. Who shall win?

Loads of FIBBIE ♥

This week I am updating my vintage kid’s clothing store – FIBBIE. I opened it back in April (you can read about it here) and it’s been way too long since I’ve done a big update. I missed it! I also designed a new shop banner:

I wanted to incorporate a photo of my little tiny fibbie kids – aren’t they cute? I am planning on updating with many more pieces this week, so take a look now, and later…okay?

I love vintage kid’s clothes so much! It’s fun to be able to turn something that you love into a job:)

Music festivals…one of most fun things to do during a hot Summer…yes? Last year, both Stephanie and I were involved in working for a one-day music festival(Heaven Fest) and this year is almost no different…except that Stephanie decided to take this year off so it’s just me:)

The festival has been keeping me super busy for the last couple of months and specifically the last few weeks because it happens next weekend…yikes! So while I will be working like a crazy person the day of – I still need to feel like I’m decent enough for people to see. I decided to throw together a few, “if I could afford it and it wasn’t so close to the festival, I would buy these to wear” Etsy picks for you – aren’t you excited?!

I ADORE this skirt from Simone’s Rose. Seriously breathtaking.

Monday Pretties

Today was rainy and gorgeous and I finally did something new in my living room! I used a new wire book shelf, new art pieces and other odds and ends to decorate a wall…all courtesy of thrift stores and recent garage sales. I might finally be ready to start a house tour soon! I can’t promise I will be able to show the entire house all at once(I can actually pretty much guarantee it won’t happen), but I think as I finish rooms, I will show them to you. The new wall makes me happy to look at and I can’t wait to show you!

My mom sent me the link to this incredible wedding the other day. I am literally re-posting almost every photo from the site because I couldn’t narrow down my favorites. Once again, no – I am not getting married…but I am still compiling ideas for ‘someday’…and this wedding will FOR SURE be going in my folder.
