Hey there – I’m Stormie Dae; the second half of MayDae.  Stephanie May and I come from a family of 5 kids of which I am the youngest and she is the 2nd oldest.

I turned 25 this year, but before that happened – I bought my very first house.  It is a 1919 bungalow that I absolutely adore and try to work on making into a gorgeous hideaway as much as I can.  My hope is to share my home renovation projects with you on a regular basis on this blog.

By day I work for a billboard printing company and glean as much knowledge about Photoshop as I can to use for my freelance design work.   I am a girl who gets bored with my hair very easily – which means frequent color changes.  I also drink coffee.  A lot.  I love to cook & bake, which I am trying to make more time for and you can usually find me with my nose in a book, taking photos of my family and friends, or working on design jobs.

I fancy myself a bass player and try my hand at singing as well.  One of my current favorite pastimes is working with teenagers at my church on music and finding their voice through their instruments.  I love working with youth, they make life so much more fun.

The answer to my most frequently asked question is: Yes, Stormie Dae is the name given to me at birth.  Followed by the answer to the inevitable second most frequently asked question: No, my parents were not hippies – they are just cool. :)

Don’t ask me why, but I look down in most of my photos.  We all have weird habits, right?
